A Pretty Simple Wall Based Family to place a Mantel (No Fireplace Surround) on a wall above a fireplace.  Family has basic parameters for materials, width and depth of mantle piece.  The design is just a quick simple Sketched Profile based on an existing job I was trying to match, but you can obviously change it to whatever profile you like...If you change the profile be sure to check and realign/lock the extruded top piece to the back of the profile to maintain a solid top.  Hope that helps someone...there was really nothing here before. Also, sorry this is in 2014...I don't have an older version available on this computer.

Note : I built this all in Revit Architecture so it is not a family - but more of a editable revit structure that you can put doors and windows and everything you would like into it - see image for further clarification

I couldnt find any shipping containers that would allow you to essentially create a shipping container home so i thought i would make one that anyone can make easy changes too.

To edit the wall material - simply select and edit in the properties browser

To place a window or door - i have already included an insulated wall with gyp that will Host the window or door, so all one has to do, is edit the profiles of the walls to reveal your window or door.
