A Christmas present for my Animal Research Facility and Laboratory Facility architect friends.

Metal Guardrail (4" standard height, but can be adjusted).  Three types:

1 1/2" projection

3" projection (most used in real life)

6" projection

Adjustable parameters include: Length, Height above floor, Bracket Spacing, Visibility of 'in' and 'out' brackets for dealing with inside and outside wall corners.  For very short walls choose very short bracket spacing (I recommend making yourself a simpler version).

Context image also shows the Broom Stow (previously uploaded).  Masonry wall stack bond pattern and a hollow metal door and frame with lite and louver help to make for a realistic image.

These files are based on 3Form Panels and 3Form Suspend Solutions Hardware. These files are meant to be used together and placed into the Project Environment. The Panel can be customized in width and height (Note that 3Form panels are typically 4'-0" wide by 8'-0" high maximum) and is placed by the centerline in height to coordinate with the suspension system parameters. The hardware suspension system has adjustments for overall height and the panel centerline height to move the clips up and down. Revit vertical braces do not show correctly cut @ 4'-0" on architectural plans.  This bracing family solves this problem.  Here the instructions:

1. Load the vertical bracing to the project
2. Go to modelling, structural, brace and choose vertical bracing
3. Pick start level, set 0'-0" (should always be 0'-0").  Pick end level (should always be the same as start level, set 0'-0" (should always be 0'-0")
4. Draw horizontal length of brace on plan
5. Go to element properties, set "Height" parameter (vertical distance measured from brace start floor level to top end of brace), set "Base Offset" parameter (location of start end of brace
