Ianjunker inspired me to recreate his corner cabinet based on one I had in a previous residence which I liked. Essentially it is the same with the main difference being the door is attached to the shelving. By rebuilding it from scratch I learned a lot of the nuances of Revit trying to get all the parameters to work. Enjoy!

This version has been fixed to ensure the Height takes into account the roof thickness. I've used a parametric workaround for that rather than re model the whole thing - since the original height setting was created by someone else

Revit 2015 - This is a metric line based kitchen cupboard as a generic model. Reason being, you can join the different segments. If it were casework, the segments can't be joined. It is a quick and easy way to draft in a basic kitchen bench system which will look adequate in sections and floor plans. It is flexible, so it should easily be converted to imperial units if needed. Hope this helps expedite your benchtop cupboard creation. Let me know if you can improve or have improvement ideas. This is the FIXED version of the family which was missing a vital parameter to allow the height to flex. Please ignore prior version. I couldn't see an option to replace the original upload. |

The single width offered by American Woodmark, 33", is included as a family type. The URL will open the catalog wherein you can find this cabinet. I've noticed that sometimes the doors, if opened to 90°, will not close to 0° if you have just the family open. If this happens, close the doors to something other than 0° and then go to 0°. This does not happen with the family when it is inserted into a project. |

American Woodmark offers this cabinet in three widths: 27", 30", and 33" and those are the three family types. All doors operate independently. The oven width for each cabinet size is preset to the published size, but I've exposed the oven opening parameters as instance parameters if you want to cut a custom opening.
The best practice for operating the doors is to open and close them in angular increments of something less than 90° in a single operation. For example, if you want to open them to 90°, you could open them initially to 50° and then go to 90°. Close them the same way. |

DANGER IS VERY HEAVY TO PROCESS, my PC has good features in RAM and Processor and it had a hard time handling the file at first.

The CRL Vertical Sliding Ticket Window can be installed above the counter top without altering its surface. It is constructed of heavy gauge extruded aluminum in satin anodized or duranodic bronze finishes. The sliding lower panel is glazed with 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) clear glass, and has spring tensioned guides to hold it in the raised position. Two spring loaded knob latches will secure the window to closed position. Pile weatherstripping along the lower frame prevents drafts. Frame protrudes only one inch (25 millimeter) on clerk's side, and glass channel installs easily in 1/4 inch (6 millimeter) thick glass. |
