Series U009 Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. They have a bronze body construction with a unique swivel union, two in-line independently operating check valves, a removable stainless-steel relief valve with captured springs and replaceable seat discs, four ball valve test cocks, and an air gap drain fitting. Their compact and space-saving design facilitates easy assembly and maintenance access. They are ideal for protection at health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements. Maximum Working Pressure: 175psi (12.06 bar).

It has cast copper silicon alloy body construction for durability. The LFU009 features Lead Free* construction to comply with Lead Free* installation requirements.
