Series LF1170, LFL1170 Lead Free* Hot Water Temperature Control Valves are specifically designed for mixing hot and cold water on hot water supply systems. They can be used for a variety of applications to reduce the temperature of the hot water from the system, and are ideal for radiant heat applications. This series features a "double throttling" design which combines the control of the hot and cold water to provide a sensitive response to changes in water temperature passing through the mixing chamber. The LF1170 can be set to any temperature between 90°F and 160°F (60°F and 120°F for model LFL1170-M2) with flow rates as low as 0.5 gpm and as high as 23 gpm. The superior flow characteristics of this valve provide accurate temperature control to the requirements of ASSE 1017 across the rated flow range. These valves also provide additional safety as they restrict mixed water out to a drip upon loss of cold water supply to the valve. As an added feature, the LF1170, LFL1170 series incorporates integral check valves and filter washers in both the hot and cold water inlets to protect against cross flow. The curtains can be parametrically opened and closed through a slider in plan view. In order to do this it took calculous, trigonometry, and numerical methods to pull off. It is a little computationally heavy on the model.

NZ local content of a Pioneer Manufacturing Ltd proprietary solid fuel burner  (20kw output) with optional wetback module ( not included).

This family has Yes/No parameters for the upper ECO flue base kit,  the 3 lower flue sections - 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm  and Yes/No parameter for the optional Floor Protector sheet including width and length parameters for the protector sheet.

The flue sections are instance parameters for height so have grips for on the fly / interactive height adjustment. The upper ECO flue base kit (nested family) has type parameters for some length sections while some are deliberately fixed segments.

Materials parameters are assigned for inner flue, fascia panel, louvre blades, glass inset panel, door handle shaft and knob.

There is some information current at this date included in the family such as URL , NZ Keynotes (the CBI system/format and the like. The family is a wall hosted family and has the manufacturer recommended installation clearances from firebox to wall built into the family.
