The Ikea Domsjo Apron Sink. This is the most affordable apron (farmers) double bowl sink I could find for my kitchen remodel. Needed exact dimensions for creating a custom cabinet around it. Critical dimensions are accurate in regard to placement in a cabinet. Other items like the strainer holes, edges of the sink, and slotted drains along back could use some polishing, but seem to get the idea across.

A window with a fully parametric brick arch. This took quite a while to figure out, but I wanted to share it with anyone that wanted it. The brick arch is fully parametric in that it will adapt to the width, height, or arch height of the window. The number of bricks will also adapt depending on how wide/tall the window is. The window itself can be adapted as needed. Note. This arch part of the window is made to be configured by the height of the arch, not by a radius. I did this since I wanted to be able to specify a specific height for the arch to match brick coursing. And of course feel free to change the window to an opening/door/whatever. Just make sure you keep the main parameters. |

I was too hesitant to upload this family without properly checking that it flexes properly. I appologize for the confusion. This is a line based kitchen cupboard family as a generic model. The cupboards can be used in a very quick way to draft 3D cupboards inside your model and have them depict somehwat correctly in sections and plan views. There are two other very similar families which I uploaded. They are similar, but do NOT flex properly if you need to convert to imperial measurments. I am pretty sure this version will be ok. I altered some of the family parameters and constraints to better array and alter the width of the door panels, no matter what length the cupboard is. With the tweaking and fixing, this family can also be used as line based wardrobes. I included a wardrobe type within the family. I hope the owners of this site could implement a "replace" function for uploaders to better serve those downloading! |

Ianjunker inspired me to recreate his corner cabinet based on one I had in a previous residence which I liked. Essentially it is the same with the main difference being the door is attached to the shelving. By rebuilding it from scratch I learned a lot of the nuances of Revit trying to get all the parameters to work. Enjoy!

A Christmas present for my Animal Research Facility and Laboratory Facility architect friends.
Metal Guardrail (4" standard height, but can be adjusted). Three types:
1 1/2" projection
3" projection (most used in real life)
6" projection
Adjustable parameters include: Length, Height above floor, Bracket Spacing, Visibility of 'in' and 'out' brackets for dealing with inside and outside wall corners. For very short walls choose very short bracket spacing (I recommend making yourself a simpler version).
Context image also shows the Broom Stow (previously uploaded). Masonry wall stack bond pattern and a hollow metal door and frame with lite and louver help to make for a realistic image. |
