Hey guys, this took me a lot of time to make but it is pretty good, totally parametric. I had to work my brains out on some Pithagoras! You can choose between a 90 degrees shower screeen or a chamfered corner, adjust the angle and the length of the chamfer, offset each side separate from the wall and of course the materials. Generic window to appear as functional as Curtainwall.
Based on Kawneen 451T
Storefront with Receiver
Adjust depth of wall placement similar to curtainwall with numeric imput. Works in brick, stucco, etc (Varying wall thickness)
Can change spandrel panel thickness and glazing type color with material palette. Use check bock to change panel from vision to spandrel in plan for thickness, but must use material to change actual material
Built in shim distance can be adjust to control rough opening shown on elevations and plan.
Receiver distance value is meant to be mullion plus additional receiver thickness, not total receiver thickess. |

Solid flush door can be conveted to stile n rail panel door by using mould thickness. Multi lite door can be 1V x1H to 10v x 4H lites of glass or other solid material. There is a extra frame(2ndry frame) arroun multi lites, who's width can be zero if you do'nt need it. etc. etc. By adding param of Left or/& Right window with one can win frame also . No longer do you have to add 4 individual break lines to a view to frame an enlarged plan, detail, etc. This four-sided break line does it all in one step. Parametric settings allow you to control the width of the "frame", height of the "frame", Jag width, jag depth, and masking depth. You can also turn off sides you don't need by using the E/W/N/S visibility setting. When you re-size the frame, the origin is top left corner so changes to size occur from that point. |

I have taken a manufacturers family - redrew it - so every curve is tangentle to other planes - hence with lines on - no lines between formed surfaces. This is how drawing should be. When 3D view set at Scale 1:1 - therefore no thick line work. In this instance no linework turned on anyways.
Manufactured items in sheetmetal, plastics, timber etc, it is vare rare to have a sharp corner on it. All planes should have a radiused chamfer - just look around your office - hard to find two surfaces coming together with sharp edge.
Have posted this here solely to assist others on how to draw and also how to display.
To many rubbish families posted here - learn and create each one better than the last one.
