This is a parametric tuscan column family, consisting of a pedestal, shaft, and capital. It is based off of Palladio's First Book of Architecture, Chap. 14.
To change the size, go to Edit Type, and under Dimensions, enter the desired height in the "Height of System" field. There are two preset material parameters, one for the column itself, and one for the pedestal.

This is a base for the Tuscan Column family I have also uploaded, with TRUE classical proportions according to the 16th century Italian architect Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola. Input the diameter of the column to be used above, and all other parameters adjust accordingly. This is a Revit 2012 family. |

This is an awesome little family I must say. I have made a parametric column/girder/concrete base family where the you can control the number of columns and the column spacing. The girder cut length will follow as you enter the amount of columns you want. Can you believe I have totally mastered revit but still can't find a job!!! Please rate and comment. |
