This line based fire rated partition is compliant with version 5 of the NCS. It is already set up for 1 to 4 hour separations.
There are a couple of things to take note of. The objects themselves are generic annotations so they maintain their size regardless of scale per NCS guidelines. This works best at scales from 1/8 to 1/2 scale.
All aspects of the visibility are instance based. Since there is no way to specify symbol spacing independent of scale, I just make it fully adjustable. Adjust the beginning and ending offset along with the smoke symbol offset to make it compliant with NCS spacing guidelines. |

Thank you to user ford347 for the original one that i've taken a little further. this symbol allows you to move the triangle tag but keeps a leader-type line attached to the dashed shear wall line i've made the length text be just a user-defined line of text in case a note is needed instead of the length. this is also my first upload... so be gentle if i've done something incorrectly. |

The label below the line gives you an elevation in engineer standards - 100.33' (example) This works great on site plans, when you have to give the real site dimension compared to the architectural dimension you chose. |
