This is a 2-pick line-based break line symbol. After you click once to start the break line, an invisible line arrow will appear to indicate which side of the line the mask will be on. By default it masks on the same side/direction as the exterior side of walls, i.e. outer side of a clockwise loop.
It also has a view scale parameter, which you can enter before you start drawing the break line. Simply enter the view scale for each break line you draw, and all your break line jogs in your entire project will match size and shape exactly.
Note: the arrow is only visible while drawing the break line, or when you hover the mouse over it or pick it. |

No longer do you have to add 4 individual break lines to a view to frame an enlarged plan, detail, etc. This four-sided break line does it all in one step. Parametric settings allow you to control the width of the "frame", height of the "frame", Jag width, jag depth, and masking depth. You can also turn off sides you don't need by using the E/W/N/S visibility setting. When you re-size the frame, the origin is top left corner so changes to size occur from that point. |

A view title I created with a self extending extension line so you don't have to keep editing the length. The trick is to turn off the extension line in the family and let the lable underline act as the extension line. Note, there are spaces in the lables prefix to allow for the offset in the text and the underline to extend to the left. Edit to fit your standards. Hope you find this helpful |
