This Light is Fully Parametric. It is not hosted.  The part witch attaches to the Ceiling can all so be angled to match the slop of the ceiling. This is done by entering a number with inches over 12" (ex. for a 4/12 slope enter 4")

Because of popular demand I remade this based  off the 2015 verstion that I made a while back.

Took a parametric track from here and added the Gimble fixture. Now the fixture symbol does show up in the RCP. The track however is still just detail lines, so it is a no show in elev or 3D views.

This is a copy of a real wooden lamp I made a few years ago.  The shade was scroll-sawed with a frosted backing.  The base was turned on a lathe.  This would be a neat piece for a cabin, lodge, or rustic decore.   Please rate/comment.  Thanks for looking!

Parametric String Lights using adaptive components. Adjusting the U_VAL and V_VAL changes the placement of the inner spline point. Additional parameters include: light bulb count, ends offset, and fixture materials.

Placement seems to work best using vertical planes. If the fixture ends up facing the wrong direction - try setting the workplane to a vertical placement plane and rotating.

Note: Original Light Bulb family modified from Ryan Davis's upload. No earlier version available currently, possibly in the future. Sorry! :(

Last Lantern I'll probably make for a while.  Its a Vintage Monarch that gives a rustic decore in any room.  The Lamp is a Lightsource and Took about 2 hours to make.  The render was about 4 minutes.  Fun project in some down time.  Rate/comment if you like!  Thanks.

My carriage style hanging light is made of glass and white painted aluminum and can be mounted to entrance way ceilings.  Use the floor plan to place component and set offset to 6’8”+.   I also have same style Carriage light sconce to be mounted to walls.  Use floor pan to place component and set offset to 5’6”.
