Tuscan Column Base - TRUE Classical Proportions!

This is a base for the Tuscan Column family I have also uploaded, with TRUE classical proportions according to the 16th century Italian architect Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola.  Input the diameter of the column to be used above, and all other parameters adjust accordingly.  This is a Revit 2012 family.

Tuscan Column - TRUE Classical Proportions!

This is a Tuscan column family with TRUE classical proportions according to the 16th century Italian architect Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola, which scale according to column height.  If desired, there is also a checkbox to change height independent of the column diameter and other diameter-driven parameters.  This also goes along with the Tuscan Column Base family.  This was created in Revit Architecture 2012.

Window - Classical Trim

This window is intended to replicate one found on a plate depicting a 19th-century villa designed by C.F. Schinkel.  It is somewhat parametric: dimensions can be changed, although I wouldn't push it too far.  I've had some difficulty getting it to cut in plan views.

Doric Column w/ Attic Base - Parametric with classical proportions

My first family shared on this site. I looked at the Classic Doric column posted here for help. There were a few things I didn't like about that one, so I built this one from scratch. The parameters break if you go too small with it (I think at like 3' tall) but other than that it seems to proportion perfectly. I may build one with a typical Doric base at some point or if anyone wants to modify it feel free. Just make sure to share it if you do. Thanks.

I apologize for the large image, I assumed it would be resized.

Multiple Course Dimensional Stone

A pattern of cut stone with courses of alternating height, derived from Carl Friedrich Schinkel's neo-classical designs.

Here's an entry on the ancient Roman equivalent and its use in neo-classical works:

opus pseudisodomum: Ashlar with the stone blocks of each course alike, but differing from the stones of other courses in height, length, or thickness, so that while continuous horizontal joints were maintained they varied in height, resulting in masonry laid in regular courses of alternating broad and narrow bands. Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson used pseudisodomic masonry at the Caledonia Road Church, Glasgow (1856), with the narrow bands projecting slightly from the face of the wider bands, emphasizing the horizontal qualities of the building. © A Dictionary of Architecture and Landscape Architecture 2000, originally published by Oxford University Press 2000.
