This file is Revit 2019 - the latest it would let me select is 2018. This is a door family so it can only be placed in a wall. However, the gate is nested inside, and that can be placed wherever if you want to use that instead. Different types represent single vs double gate. Width and height are instance based.
Edit Sept 2021 - The swing angle of the 3D gate is now controlled by an instance parameter. |

This is a fully Parametric Door family I have been working on it for awhile. It has the ability to be solid, half-glass, full glass, and a cased opening. You can control all of this by checking the on/off boxes in the type properties. It has the option for no tim, trim on one side or both sides. Door swing projection is also optional. Make sure that glass width and height have a value even if you are using the solid flush option otherwise family will not work. Enjoy! |
