This Garage Family expands on the work by the author of "Garage_Door_2045.rfa" posted on this site; however, this family is now fully parametric and has standard garage door sizes for a single car garage programmed into the file. There is an option to turn the muntins on or off with each individual placement of this door. Standard Door sizes included are 8x7, 9x7, 10x7, 8x8, 9x8, and 10x8. You can add your own sizes as needed.

This is an instance based parametric model of a rooftop ventilation hood with an associated roof curb. The model is roof hosted and remains vertical while the base of the curb follows the slope of the roof. There are 4 main parameters that you can adjust and are as follows:

1) Roof Pitch Numerator: You will need to type in and match the roof pitch of the roof you are placing the vent hood upon. For example, if the roof is a 6:12 pitch, enter 6".

2) Roof Opening Width and Roof Opening Depth: Specify the opening you need. The Depth is the dimension along the slope of the roof.

3) Roof Curb Minimum Height: This will be the minimum height you require at the shortest height of the curb on the slope.

This is a modified Revit K-Series Bar Joist that has parametric adjustable seat angles on each end. By default, the bar joist comes in as a standard bar joist with straight/flat seats; however, under the model properties for the bar joist, there are parameters to adjust the seat angles.

1) First, check the parameter called, "Show Angled Chord Legs at Seat".

2) Then adjust the Inner and Outer Heights of the Seat. There is a right side and a left side.
