A highly parametric dooor for all of your doooring needs

Parameters: The materials should be self-explanatory, as long as you remember that the interior is the side with the doorknob. Here are the dimensional parameters:

-Doorknob depth: The depth of the doorknob

-Doorknbob X posistion: the X posistion of the doorknob (0 is at the right of the door)

-Doorknob Y posistion: the Y posistion of the doorknob (0 is at the bottom of the door)

-Doorknob base radius: the radius of the end of the dorknob that touches the door

-Doorknob outer radius: the radius of the other end of the doorknob

-Exterior depth: the depth of the exterior part of the door (must be negative)

Here's a fancy fully parametric arched garage door with details (Also parametric).

I'm still working on making the radius of the arch parametric - I'll upload it if I ever solve all the problems. Also you can't change the number of panels in the door, but they will adjust themselves appropriately as you change the width of the door.

For more contemporary/modern designs Kolbe has introduced the Ultra Series beveled direct set. These aluminum clad wood windows are glazed to the interior and direct set in the heavy duty extruded aluminum frame.  The profile is integral to the frame exterior, providing a streamlined appearance in addition to the strength of extruded aluminum.  Daylight is maximized due to the glass unit being set directly into the frame without a sash; this also gives a larger view.
