are creating our soffit walls and then adding a dropped gb ceiling at the correct height. Then we join the geometries together. This results in the structure "layers" of the wall joining but not the finish "layers". Which causes the ceiling plans to show a blank area where the soffit wall is shown

ver, each of the bearing walls are at different elevations. The ridge line will be offcenter. Any suggestions as to how to do this simply ? Thank you.
