mix of new and existing walls that I need to use repeatedly. Everytime I insert the group all of the walls come in as new construction. Is there any way to insert it so that the phase properties stay as they are in the orginal, so that I dont have to go into every group and change every single wall

ng the wall sweep or the walls ? I am thinking that it must have to do with the fact that the 1' 10" wall is continuous, but it seems silly to break up this exterior wall every time it intersects an interior partion wall just so the wall sweeps will terminate as they should. leif you follow Families\ walls \Basic walls \Brick wall > select all the istances you have a quick selection of all the objects that belong to the brick wall family type; go on the light bulb and select isolate object to have a "family filter" view.
