New Server!2006-10-02 We know it's only been about 8 months since our last server move, but it was time for an upgrade again. We've moved on and up from renting a server to purchasing a box of our own. The New DL360 G4p is connected to a 40Mbit OC3 pipe, so there is plenty of bandwith headroom now. The server as currently set up has 1 Gb of RAM, Two 76Gb Ultra 320 SCSI drives in RAID 1, and a single 3 Ghz Xeon processor with 4mb L2 cache. We shouldn't have to move the server for a while now, since this box is upgradable to 2 dual core Xeon processors down the line and up to 12 Gb of RAM. We wanted to make sure we had plenty of power to run the new version of RevitCity.com. Everyone should be hearing more about that in the coming months. |
