how to give materials to families from cad imported files..??

Sarah067.. the best way to add materials is to open up the cad import in its own family and goto Materials and there will be the selected materials already assigned.. just write these down and the when you import them bach into the main file you can go back to materials and find the name and assign the material you need. hope this helps.
