Triangle glass building

Uploaded By: shaun

Fri, Mar 9, 2007

Description:

Hi all this is my first building rendering, self-taught so any feedback welcome

The structural support for the area that "branch" out seem to be impossible i know, though i have a method of supporting these without comprimisng on the whole "open" feel.  If any1s actually interested i could model it and post another finished rendering.

 Enjoy ^^

Nothing is impossible.. but your floors would probably be much thicker in reality (remember the ROT fur cantilever is 15% of total length so a 25' steel beam shouldn't overhang by more than 3.75'Winking.  Pretty good for a first model / render.  All it needs is an eye in the middle and some sun rays shooting out around the side and you've got yourself a nice illuminus pyramid Winking

illuminous pyramid! great name :D

thx for replies, i'm not a structural engineer (obviously) but the floors will be supported by the inner core housing the lifts too, but also at the 3 corners there will be coulmns encased in concrete.  the 3 supprts will follow the angle of the glass facade, and, at the top floor curve inwards.  i'll try and model this and show u all Smile
