this is a really good model - hard to believe its you first one - but then again you may just have a nack for these things. what other software have you worked on before? also did you model everything in revit including the steel truss - is is parametric?

Mostly in the past I've used sketchup and autocad. I've done tutorials in maya and 3dsmax, but revit is much easier to use. I made the truss as a beam family. It is based on a series of circle segments, so it isn't very parametric - only total span. I don't know much about rendering, so revit is great for me. I just threw in some lighting, turned all the settings to max, and let the computer sit for a few hours.
