Hi Everyone -

I am an architect at a firm in Saint Louis.  We have been using Revit for almost 4 years, and are constantly looking for consultants to work with who are also using Revit.  We've found that the local firms are still behind the curve, with  a few exceptions.  I'm trying to compile a list of firms to take to my principles.  Our firm does all commercial - a lot of offices, some financial and data facilities, and are trying to move into healthcare and government faciilities.

Thanks so much!  This could be a great opportunity for us both!

-Jen

Part of the difficulty in finding these firms, from my experience, is that the structural and mep versions of revit are no where near the capability of the architectural version.  Therefore, not many are making the shift to those versions of revit.

Jennifer,

I work for MBI, a full service Engineering/Architectural firm.  We started using Revit Structural and Revit MEP in fall of 2006 with the electrical side starting to come online now.  We provide structural engineering services for many clients including architectural firms and are licensed in all 50 states.

You can contact me: Jonp at mbiarch.com or Eddie Jett: Eddiej at mbiarch.com

Hi, my name is Tyler, I work for Frost Engineering & Consulting located in Northern Indiana. I have only been using Revit Structure for about a year now but we went through the training programs through Avatech Solutions & our clients seem to always be very pleased with our work. If you would like to talk to the owner of the company to learn more about us you can contact him at 574-271-7088 or email him at RJFrost@earthlink.net. His name is Jerry Frost & I'm sure you will be very pleased with what he has to offer. We have been to St. Louis already a few times so the drive isn't that far or that big of a deal.

Jennifer,

I work for a Structural engineering firm in Birmingham Alabama and we are relatively new to the Revit world. On the flip side we are trying to find architects to work with who are willing to go the BIM route using Revit. Although we are new to the Revit world we do have a couple of projects under our belts. We are eagerly awaiting an architect to climb on board with. Contact: shatcher@sdg-us.comSteve

Hello.  My name is Kevin and I am the CAD Production Manager for a Structural Engineering firm in Dallas, Texas.  We have been modeling in Revit for the past 2 years and have made the commitment to go totally (or as close as we can get) Revit.  Our firm does the following types of work: commercial, retail, schools, medical, werehouses, worship centers and parking garages to name a few.  WE have been in business for over 10 years and work with nationally know clients.  We are registered in 48 states.  Please feel free to contact me at kbillings@hartgaugler.com or visit our company website at hartgaugler.com.
