Version 2008 

The realtor wants the room tags for his plans to include sq.ft. total of room plus the adjacent closet.  Is there away to do this?  Currently I have to make seperate rooms for ea closet. (...but who cares if the closet is 9 sq.ft...)

What i do is just select the wall between to room and the closet and go to its properties and untick the room bounding option - i hope this is what you are looking for.
