Our firm is relatively new to Revit - 3 months. It has been heavily customized to suit our needs, however we do need to be able to take exhibition stands and areas over to VIZ for detailed rendering. We currently have Revit 2008 and VIZ 2008 Trial. Our stands are made up of components built within the generic model families. When first built, we have created and assigned custom materials based off the Accurender library and saved into our own library. Revit renders these materials fine, however, once a 3D model is exported to CAD format for linking to VIZ, we are unable to see any materials appear in VIZ - either on the components themselves, or within the VIZ material library... Are we looking in the wrong places, or assigning to the wrong places?Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
