The door I made cuts correctly in the family (right side in pdf) but when inserted into the model (the left side) the cut doesn't show the mullions like it does in the family. You can only see them when you hover over the door.  I checked  and both cut planes are set the same.  What am I doing wrong?  Using Revit 9.1

Try raising or lowering the view range in the family to be in the middle of the mullions that you have drawn.

Hope this works

I tried that before I posted and it didn't work. No of my previous doors have that problem, only the last two that I have made.  They are big storefront frames that I modeled into a door family, could that have anything to do with it?  I would think all the doors would work the same regardless.

Just figured this out.  The family was set to wireframe instead of hidden line.
