I have flip controls in a family that I have nested in another family. How do I then see those original flip controls in the project? For instance, toilet stall has a flippable door in a nest "panel with door"...can I make the door flippable in the project? Also, while I'm asking flippability questions, can you make parameters conditional on the flip status...IF("flip has been thrown",3',1')? Looks like I'm about to make a lot of "family types" to nest for all of my conditions...16 in all (since the toilet stall was only an example).

As far as I know (somebody correct me if I am wrong) you can't access the flip control in a nested family situation. I ran some tests with nested families and wasn't able to do it. I too would like to do this.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, as a former student at both Lousiana State and University of Tennessee, I can't in good conscience read the post of a Razorback fan....just kidding. Looks like a new item for my personal Revit wish-list. Also, condolences on your bowl game.

Yea it kinda sucks. Been kind of a soap opera revolving around Razorback football, but like they say "A Fan through thick and thin!"
