I'm modifying the Span Direction Annotation to look more to our office standards. I've got exactly what I need except the correct visual rotation of the filled region. I tried using regular linework instead of a region, but that created other problems...

I need the filled region to rotate with the deck span direction and I'm running out of time on this project. Anybody got a quick fix?

I also tried editing the cut fill pattern to "Align with element", but without success.

Thanks

james

Hey James,

Please let me know if this is what were looking for or if I misunderstood you.

Yes!  But... The deck symbol is running in the wrong direction.  We need it turned 90 degrees to match the directino of the deck ribs.

Also, I rotated the slab direction (just for the hey of it) on the plans and the symbol went all wonky.  Something's still not jiving somewhere...

I know this must seem like a silly request but I have a "circular" building where the deck direction changes every 5 degrees and the boss wants it shown properly.  I'll have to note every section manually for now.

Thanks
