Hi All,

I created a wall with a surface pattern using a "drafting" types instead of "model" types. I'm able to view the pattern perpectly on the "default 3D view" but i'm having hard time viewing it correctly on camera view (perspective). The surface pattern are showing as if it is a solid fill. Does any of you have this issue before? What's the diffence between "drafting" and "model" pattern types anyway?

 Thanks in advance!

If you want to see the pattern properly in your model, you want a model pattern.  The differnce is that a model patterns are scaled with the model such that their scale will change based on the scale of the view.  A drafting pattern will always be the same size, as its scale is "fixed with respect to the drawing sheet".  There is a very good explanation in the help file of Revit.  Search for "fill patterns".
