I recentley got a 64bit machine with Revit Architecture, works fine except for one thing.

1. The username under options if set to a coworkers, when I set it to my username it resorts back to my coworkers username when I get out of Revit and reopen Revit.

check the user name for the computer, that's where Revit is getting the name from.

I'm not experiencing this issue.

Ensure users have full read/write rights to the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Revit Architecture 2008.  Otherwise Revit is unable to save properly to the Revit.ini file.

Try manually going into your Revit.ini file and clearing the username and see if it allows you to save the file...
