Does Revit provide a non-leader type arrowhead pointer to show slope and/or drainage direction, or do you have to create it?

I've created my own line based detail component to do this. So to answer your question, no revit does not provide one.

Thanks Chris. Did you have to create a component family for each scale?

No, its a detail component so scales with the view and the arrow head has parameters to control its size. Cheers.

I've created this entire structure in 3D using Revit and now trying to lay out a drawing package. I know that I am a Revit novice, but I just can't figure out the steps involved in creating a usable arrowhead leader that I can attach to whatever I need it to, within different scales. What gives?! Any hints....thanks

Okay the description I gave previously were how to create a free instance arrow detail component. For the actual arrowheads for leaders that attach to text and tags in revit your are limited to the options in Settings-->Annotations-->Arrowheads (i think that is where it is, can't remember and don't have revit to check atm) You have options for filled and unfilled, dot, arrows at all angles less that 90° (that bugs me as I prefer to see and arrow with an angle of 120 or so) etc etc. Then in your text or tag you can choose from your predefined arrowhead types for the leaders. HTH.

Why does it say that my ramp has no slope when it does for a spot slope? |
