Hello,

My latest issue is regarding arrowheads and where they start in relationship with multi line text boxes.  I typed up four rows of text with the leader line to start on the right side.  By default it places it along the top row of text.  Our company has a rule, and I believe it is also a common drafting standard that the leader would start at the end of the text, therefore, the last row.  It is not worthwhile to resort to typing four separate lines of text just so I can have the leader assigned to the last row by itself.  Hopefully, there is a solution somewhere.  I would even be happy if there was a way I could draw my own drafting line with an arrowhead at one end but did not have much luck there either.

EDIT- Using Revit 2008 here.

Thanks in advance.

You can make this as a line based component if is a big issue but I would rather not mess with it.

Anyways, to make the component family, create the arrow head as a generic annotation and load it into the line based family. This way the arrow head will scale in your drawing.

Here is a blank leader you can add. It is a symbol family; so when you add it just select how many leaders you want and click to place it.
