Is it possible to combine several outputs from different formulas to create a product number?

See the attached casework family. I would like to get the Model to read out 1"ID-Hand""ID-Type""ID-Width""ID-Height""ID-End Panel"-"ID-Finish" so that the default product number would be 102C432-U.

I was thinking something along the lines of

IF(Manufacturer="WIC","101",if(Manufacturer="FH",PLACE STRING HERE,"ERROR" )

On a related note it would be nice if there was a way to have the "ID-Hand" parameter read 02 by default but change to 03 if the flip control was used.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks

Nick

Unfortunately You can't yet add a parameter to a text field...

Nor is there a command similar to "concatenate" in excel which would enable you to do this.  One for the wishlist.

Only solution would be to create a tag that had the items setup as shared parameters situated close together to effectively look like one code... Or manual data entry.

Thats what I ended up doing. Its just a pain to add 8 shared parameters to each file and then get the numbers to not run over.... Oh well just another work around for now.

Thanks
