Hi,

I'm having a hard time figuring out what's the best way to view my models in full 3D orientation. Please note that i wanted to view it from camera's perspective. I don't have problem viewing it on the "default 3D View" for this have the option of turning off/on the "crop view" unlike the one in camera view (perspective).

Can you turn on/off crop view in perspective view? Please help.

 Thanks,

Allan

If I understand your question correctly... you are spinning around the model while in a perspective view and as you do the crop box clips off a portion of your model, and you want to know how to keep the model in the center of the view.  While you can turn the crop region off, it will still clip the model when spinning.

To prevent the view from getting clipped I usually adjust the view using "dynamic view" (FShadey, switch to walkthrough mode and use the forward back control to adjust the size of the model relative to clip planes.  Also, a tip to prevent your model from moving to the side of your view when spinning around the model is to select a building element before spinning.  You will then spin around that element.  Hope his helps.

BTW - To turn off the crop boundary in a perspective view go to "view properties" and uncheck "crop region visible"....or click the shortcut icon on the bottom edge of your view window.
