Using Revit Architecture. Is there a way to create a stairs, landing and a ramp like in the attached pdf all in one step. I want my handrail to be one continuous piece.

Yes, I think you can but it is not as easy as you would like. Make your ramp and stairs then delete their railings. Make a new railing by sketching your rail in plan as line segments. You will have to determine the corect horizontal intersection point for each segment. For the rail at the stairs, choose slope by host and pick the stairs. For the flat section, pick no slope and for the ramp portion, set it to slope and set this amount. Let us know what you learn.

Apparently you can't host the rail to both the ramp and the stairs. Is the ramp tool the way to go? I can't join any geometry to the ramp and it doesn't display the material in the floor plan.
