I have created interior elevations of my greatroom. I have two ceiling fans in the space. In the South Interior elevation, you can see the ceiling fan (Greatroom_Fans.jpg) but in the North elevation you cannot see the fans (Greatroom-NoFans). What could be causing this to happen? See attachments.

Is your ceiling fan family 2d or 3d? Either way, 3d or 2d, for 3dis it set to show in side views as well as front back, for 2d, is the symbollic lines drawn in both front and side views? They appear to be 3d. Are these a 3d cad import? (I think so.) Try putting an invisible circle in plan of your family that is the diameter of the fan. REVIT needs to intersect the family in order to show it.

Where is your section line? Is it going through the middle of the ceiling fans? If it is to the side, you would only see it in one view.
