how can i put a wall of floor to ceiling windows or a glass wall in a residential project? thanks

Use a curtain wall, see this one attached. It has a box ticked so the wall embeds into your normal timber wall & moves with it etc. You can delete or add mullions etc as you require. This one has had a door fitted into one of the panels.
