I am trying to put recessed lighting in a sloping/vaulted ceiling. I can add vertical dimensions to locate the lights but because the lights are "angled" in the ceiling, I cannot add horizontal dimensions to locate the lights. Any suggestion on adding the horizontal dimensions. I am trying to create a reflected ceiling plan to locate components that are on the sloped and flat ceilings. Along with the reflected ceiling plan, I can not see any of the components (lights) that are on the sloped ceiling in the plan view I have to create my reflected ceiling plan. Of course the view range identifies the ability to view things according to the levels that are created. The sloped ceilings are not on any one particular level. Actually when viewing the sloped ceiling, it could span across levels or between any two levels. Any suggestions so I can see these components in the reflected ceiling plan for sloped ceilings?
