For some reason my view templates from a project I use as our office standards project will not copy over to my template drawing we use to start all of our projects from. Nor will they transfer to a newly created project created form the same template and then saved. I was using the "transfer project standards" tool. Now the view templates in my template file did transfer to the office standards project. Anyone know why this is? I really need to save myself some time and get these view templates in my new project and the office template for that matter. Thanks

This may sound like a dumb question, but sometimes it's something simple like this. Is the file you are trying to use an rte. file or an rvt. file? The rte. is for templates.

I have tried both. I tried transfering them to "1.rte" and then started a new project from that same template file and saved it as a .rvt file and neither one will get the view templates from the other .rvt file....
