hi all... i have been trying to customize my dimension style so i can have a circle for the centerline tick mark, but it doesn't show as an option. (revit arch 200 when i try to find the default family on my hard drive, i can't even find dimensions anywhere... not under annotations, not under imperial folders... any ideas on how i can customize this? thanks in advance!

you have to make a generic annotation family of a circle to use it on dimensions. the default centerline symbol is under <WhateverDirectoryMyRevitLibraryWasInstalledTo>\Annotations\Centerline.rfa Just copy it and erase the "cl" and draw a circle.
