When I make copies or callouts of a floor plan, everything copies in correctly except for the room name/number tag. I have to go in and retag all the rooms. This seems to defeat the entire purpose of Revit. Anyone have an answer? RA 2008

When you duplicate a plan view, try "duplicate with detailing". As for the callouts, you'll have to re-tag your rooms. We have a "master" plan view that we keep our room tags up to date in (everything else typically turned off). We sometimes use that view to easily make copies of the tags for other views.
