I've been creating window and door families with nested panels eg. Fixed glased panel, sliding panel. All fine! What I want to do or have:- is, once in the project, a FP annotation idicating fixed panel in elevation that can be turned on or off or say tagged once annotation is required. I have tried using a shared parameter of sub description in identity data of the idividual nested items and then tried to tag in the project...no go! I have also tried labels in elevation the host family.all good, but they do not show up in the project in elevation. Any ideas would be greatfully recieved Grasshopper

Sorry not the right forum, I'll get it next time! Just to add further explanation to my ramblings last night. An example family is a 4 panel sliding combination see attachment. The annotation is only required during construction documentation, so to have something that can be turned off during earlier stages is optimum. The family is made up of a host family Sliding Door with two nested generic models of Glazed Panel and Fixed Glazing. What I have been trying to do is use a detail component with text that can be turned off with yes/no parameter like the door slide direction detail component which works! This, however, as a detail component with text doesn’t work when loaded into host family. The text isn’t able to be seen in elevation. So next…….I tried Shared parameters for each of the gen model glass panel items then load in to the project and tag with an associated tag. This also didn’t seem to work. Hopefully this has expanded the general idea enough for some feed back. Grasshopper
