Ok I've tried searching High and Low for this, and can't find any specific answer. I tried to download and use Hatchkit, but didn't find it too useful. Is there a way to create a hatch .pat file from a .dwg or .dxf? I have attached a .dxf of what I'm trying to create. Thanks so much, Lorne

I have attached a very nice lisp routine for you, you need Acad for it to work. use: appload to locate the lsp file and load it into your drawings use: drawhatch to start drawing use: savehatch to save a .pat file it is very simple and effective

Great Eldados! I knew there was an easy way! Is there anyway to make the drawing template more than a 1x1 square? That would be great. Thanks. Lorne

the default is 1x1 if you want to change it, I believe you will have to change the lisp. the file saves to where ever you want...

Importing the above DXF to HatchKit yielded 2 stone pattern blocks that could be directly turned into hatch patterns, one of which is attached, ready for loading to Revit at full scale. There's no need to redraw the pattern template to cover a 1x1 repetition.
