I have created toposurfaces. They appear as thin layers not as blended surfaces. Crying see attached) To make it worse, they cast shadows on each other. See attached. How do you solve this problem?

Also I notice that it appears impossible to draw a toposurvace with a concave shape. Is that true? I have imported them before, no problem as I remember with concave shapes from imports.
