The shaft of the doric column extends above the top capital sme 17 feet, I cannot find how to adjust the shaft (body) of the column so that it falls between the base and the captial. Can anyone please help me.

If this is the doric column that is standard in the revit library, I selected the column, clicked on "Attach", clicked on "Top", and then selected a surface that I wanted to define the height of the column, in my case a ceiling.  This brought the whole column down to that height.  The column that I'm referring to has no height parameter in the properties menu.
