I have created a window family called "Window_Office_EW_A" and it will not insert into a wall in my project. I get the following notices in the warning pop up window:

Error - Can't make type "Window_Office_EW_A".

Warning - None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: Level 2 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.

Any thoughts on how I might resolve this?

Quite likely that the wall you are trying to insert the window into is not wide enough to accept the family.

How thick is the wall? Edit the family you created and make the sample piece of wall more narrow- adjust any constraints / parameters accordingly. Reload into project.

Ian
