Im drawing a house up, and it has a single skin block work side extension that butts up to the brickwork. when i draw it, Revit it very clever and intergrates it into the existing house walls, how would i stop it doing this, when i add this wall?

select your wall where the two walls join, right-click over the blue dot and select "Disallow Join". HTH
