I created a handrail and I was wondering if there is a way to make an "ajustable panel" that would cut at the corner to avoid that result.

Try doing your glass panels as a rail.

thanks. that works for a work around, but any ideas if I need a panelized, articulated system? where I'm running into trouble is with having a panel that can follow the slope of the stair. what I'm shooting for is something like this, but I keep getting panels that maintain 90 degree angles.

thanks for all of the help- but unless there is a way to interupt rails, this solution isn't what I'm after. the solution in the tutorial creates a swept plane of glass that starts at the top of the stair and ends at the bottom. if I was interested in creating a system that is created of panels that are interrupted through out the stair, then this wouldn't be the solution. in the photo I posted, there's an interuption to the sweep halfway down the stairs (2 panels). any ideas on how I could do this with out the result miguell found?
