I'm trying my darndest to model up a sweep on a 3D path - with no luck!  Is it entirely impossible to model up the bentwood Thonet chair, or make a lovely undulating pipe in space in Revit right now?  Any ideas on a workaround (within reasonable simplicity) if so?  aahh!  help!!

is this the chair. i have also included a sketchup model of the chair from Google 3D Warehouse that you can import into Revit to use as a guide for creating your model.

Take a good look at this family.  It has 3d (4 plane) sweeps in it.

I have played around with this family and modified it.  I'm still not 100%  confident in how to do these complicated sweeps but they can be done.
