I am using revit 9.1. I have a simple gable roof at 8/12 pitch I am trying to cut in two dormers one at each slope of the roof. Each dormer is different in slope and width. The problem lies in when I use the slope arrows to define the dormers, either one or the other but never both come out ok. It seems when I create the dormer on one side at a width and pitch somehow influences the other on the opposie side by cutting in multiple slopes like a mansard?? See the far left gable roof in the enclosed plan Any suggestions or tips Thanks
