Whenever I try to move an object or draw a line less than 1/32" I get the error message listed in Subject. I have tried to change the Project Units as small as I can but I still get the error!  Thanks for the Help.

I am using Revit Arch. 2008

Joel

Unfortunately this error is very common. There is no way to move something less than 1/32". What you can do is move it farher than you need and the move it back. You can also try the Align tool if you have an edge you can line up with another edge.

I have the same (unsolved!) problem when redesigning room tags, moving labels - I have to move the labels away from each other and then back, otherwise, when I move in small precise steps, i get the "element is too small on screen" error. Which element? I'm trying to move a big element by a small precise amount, wtf? It even moves the way it's supposed to, then gives the error, then moves back automatically. Idiotic. I can't think of a possible reason why on earth would they implement such a feature into revit. What purpose does it serve, beyond making working precisely frustrating?

Try nudging it with your arrow keys instaed of using the move command.  Nudge will adjust to your zoom factor.  The closer you are in, the less distance the object will be nudged.  We use this a lot to adjust annotation elements like tags.

When I copy an "existing" element it reverts back to "new construction."
